The VK0100 is a control interface PAD designed for use within ATEN's ATEN Control System ecosystem. It provides a physical interface point — featuring a 16-segment Controller ID switch for node identification and a semi-recessed reset pushbutton — in installations where operators need a dedicated, panel-integrated control surface. Compatibility
The VK0100 is purpose-built for ATEN Control System deployments. It integrates with ATEN VK-series controllers (such as the VK2100 and VK1100 control box families) that share the same Control System platform. The 16-segment ID switch allows up to 16 discrete node addresses on a shared installation bus, which matters when deploying multiple PADs across a large AV or facility-control project. Verify controller firmware compatibility with v4.2.413 before mixing PAD and controller firmware versions on the same system.
Installation Notes
The VK0100 supports both recessed and rack mounting configurations — confirm your panel cutout or rack position before ordering, as the two mount styles require different rough-in preparation. Operating humidity is rated 0–80% RH, non-condensing; avoid installations in unventilated equipment closets prone to condensation, or in outdoor/semi-outdoor environments without supplemental enclosures. The semi-recessed reset button is intentionally inset to prevent accidental actuation — a deliberate design choice for production environments where an unintended reset would disrupt active control sessions.
