Description

HID 1336LGGRV Duoprox II Proximity Access Card

Overview

The HID 1336LGGRV is a Duoprox II proximity card—a passive, RF-programmable credential that works with any HID proximity reader. Weighs 0.24 oz and fits wallet or badge slot. Deployment scenario: roll-out to facilities where you need a low-cost, proven credential for door access without battery maintenance or complexity. The Duoprox II has been the industry standard for proximity access for decades; this specific SKU is programmed, gloss front and back, random number orientation, vertical slot compatible.

Compatibility

The 1336LGGRV works with all HID proximity readers in the installed base. Because it's a Duoprox II (not Duoprox Plus or advanced formats), confirm your reader supports 125 kHz or dual-frequency operation before large-volume deployment. If your facility uses HID iCLASS or newer multi-technology readers, the card will only function in proximity mode. Cross-check your access control panel's reader configuration and format support—HID provides a cross-reference document correlating external card number to programmed ID for system administration.

Installation Notes

Cards arrive pre-programmed per your order; no on-site encoding required. Distribute to cardholders with a strap and clip if badge photo ID is needed. Passive design means no battery charging or replacement—infinite operational life. Resistant to cracking and flexing, with PVC overlay available for direct imaging. Store in normal conditions; proximity cards degrade in extreme heat (>160°F) or prolonged submersion. If cards need re-programming or format changes, an RF programming tool compatible with Duoprox II (sold separately) is required.

What's in the Box

  • Cards ordered in minimum quantities of 100 per SKU
