Overview

The DMP 327 is a 16.5 VAC, 50 VA plug-in transformer built to supply auxiliary power to DMP access control panels in small-to-medium installations. It handles the power budget for credential readers, electromagnetic strikes, and door-control circuitry without requiring a separate power distribution cabinet. Plug directly into wall outlet and wire to the panel — no rack mounting, no additional enclosure needed.

Compatibility

The 327 is specified for the XR150, XR550, and XT75 Series DMP control panels. Confirm panel model before ordering; this transformer is not a universal supply and will not work with panels outside this family.

Installation Notes

Outlet placement: mount transformer within 6 feet of the control panel to minimize voltage drop over the power leads. If panel is remote or in a distant equipment room, verify that the 50 VA capacity is sufficient for your reader count and strike current draw before committing. 16.5 VAC output is not suitable for 24 VDC systems — do not attempt to rectify or modify the output voltage.
