Overview

The Middle Atlantic 1DB25 is a single-module UCP panel insert that occupies one module slot in a Middle Atlantic universal connector panel chassis. At 3.39 in wide × 3.49 in tall × 0.13 in deep and weighing under a quarter pound, the 1DB25 is a blank or single-port faceplate designed to accept one UCP connector module — keeping open bays covered and maintaining a clean, organized front face on your rack panel installation. Use it to stage unused slots today while reserving space for connector modules you'll add as the installation grows.

Compatibility

The 1DB25 installs into any of the following Middle Atlantic UCP chassis series:

  • FK2 and FK4 — Middle Atlantic fixed connector panel bases (2U and 4U respectively)
  • UCP-CH — UCP horizontal chassis
  • UCP-CT — UCP top-mount chassis
  • UCP-SF — UCP surface-mount frame

This insert is not designed for use outside these five chassis series. Verify your existing rack panel chassis series designation before ordering — the UCP module system uses a proprietary slot format that is not interchangeable with standard keystone or D-sub panels.

Installation Notes

The 1DB25 snaps or slides into a single module position within the compatible chassis — no tools required for the insert itself. The black brushed anodized finish matches standard Middle Atlantic panel aesthetics. At 0.13 in depth behind the panel face, the insert adds negligible rear clearance demand inside the rack enclosure. The cable management and connector routing within the chassis remain the primary installation considerations; the insert itself imposes no wiring requirements since it occupies the slot without a connector.
