The Cradlepoint LS03-SW2400P-GN is a 24-port gigabit managed switch purpose-built for branch offices and fixed-site network infrastructure. Its 370W PoE budget handles typical branch loads—a mix of PoE cameras, access points, and IP phones—without requiring external injectors. The industrial-temperature operating range (-5°C to 45°C) ensures stable performance in environments with marginal HVAC or temperature swings. Cloud management integration simplifies provisioning and monitoring across distributed locations. The switch includes four SFP+ ports for uplink flexibility and rack-mount capability for standard network closets.
Compatibility
This switch integrates with standard 802.3af/at PoE endpoints: IP cameras (fixed domes, turrets, bullets under 25W draw), 802.11ac/ax wireless access points, IP phones, and other low-power managed devices. Verify endpoint PoE compliance before deployment—this model supports 802.3af/at only. High-draw devices like PTZ cameras (25–30W) and 802.11ax access points (20–25W) consume PoE rapidly; calculate actual utilization carefully and keep load under 80% for thermal headroom. Standard gigabit endpoints and managed infrastructure devices connect directly to the 24 x 1 GbE ports; uplink aggregation or core connectivity uses the 4 x SFP+ ports.
Installation Notes
Rack-mount installation requires standard 19-inch equipment rack space. The 128 Gbps switching capacity and industrial plastic form factor support typical branch network densities. One USB 2.0 Type-A port provides local management or device integration options. Operate within specified temperature range (-5°C to 45°C / 23°F to 113°F) to avoid thermal shutdown or performance degradation. Plan PoE draw conservatively—high-density PTZ or access point installations may require external PoE injectors or a secondary switch to stay within the 370W budget.
