Overview

The Panduit PFR6C04BU-UG is a 1000-foot reel of Cat 6, 23 AWG, F/UTP (foiled unshielded twisted pair) bulk copper cable. Designed for horizontal runs in commercial buildings, its Riser (CMR) flammability rating allows for installation in non-plenum spaces, making it suitable for general office environments and data center interconnects where fire safety codes require specific cable ratings. This cable supports data rates up to 1 Gbps and bandwidth up to 250 MHz, aligning with the requirements for many IP surveillance and network infrastructure deployments.

Compatibility

This cable is ETL Verified to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards and is designed for use with RJ-45 style F/UTP connectivity. It is compatible with standard Cat 6 patch panels, keystones, and modular connectors from various manufacturers, provided they meet the same TIA-568.2-D specifications. Its 23 AWG solid conductor gauge is optimized for fixed installations and is not intended for patch cord applications.

Installation Notes
