Overview
The Panduit PFR6C04YL-UG is a 1000 ft (305m) spool of Cat 6 F/UTP bulk copper cable designed for horizontal network cabling runs within commercial buildings. Its Riser (CMR) flammability rating ensures compliance with building codes for use in vertical pathways, making it suitable for deployments where cable must pass between floors. The solid 23 AWG copper conductors provide robust performance for data transmission up to 1 Gbps, supporting standard Ethernet applications.
Compatibility
This cable is ETL Verified to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards and is designed for use with RJ-45 style F/UTP (shielded) connectivity components, including jacks, patch panels, and patch cords from the Panduit Pan-Net® ecosystem. It is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet networks.
Installation Notes
The cable features a yellow, flame-retardant PVC jacket suitable for Riser (CMR) installations. It is constructed with HDPE insulated conductors twisted into pairs, separated by a central cross divider to maintain pair geometry and reduce crosstalk.
