Description

Hanwha FC15-007581B Optical Cover for 3-Inch HC Series Cameras

The Hanwha FC15-007581B is a factory-spec optical cover (bubble) designed as a direct replacement for select 3-inch Hanwha cameras in the HC family. Optical covers are the clear dome through which the camera sees the world; they are precision moulded to preserve the manufacturer's defined focus, IR cut-off, and weather seal. Using an OEM cover restores image clarity, IR efficiency, and IP-rated sealing after impact damage, vandalism, scratches, or long-term UV haze.

Key Features

  • Genuine Hanwha replacement optic for 3-inch HC-series dome housings
  • Optical-grade material engineered to retain the original lens MTF and focus point
  • Anti-glare interior shroud preserves IR-LED performance and reduces internal reflection
  • UV-stabilized polymer resists yellowing and surface haze in long outdoor service
  • Maintains the camera's published IP/IK rating when installed with the supplied gasket and torque pattern
  • Direct-fit replacement; no re-aiming or back-focus adjustment if the camera body is undisturbed
  • Restores warranty-spec image quality versus generic aftermarket bubbles

Spare optical covers are a recurring need for outdoor and high-touch installations. Parking decks, transportation hubs, school exteriors, and corridor cameras accumulate scratches, hard-water etching, paint splatter, and impact spalling that gradually fog the image and force IR LEDs to bloom inside the dome. Carrying spares on the truck means a technician can resolve the issue on the same site visit rather than scheduling a return trip after waiting on a multi-day RMA cycle.

Verify the original camera model and the part number printed on the existing dome's seal before ordering. Hanwha publishes the cover compatibility on each camera's spec sheet; the cover, gasket, and security hardware should be re-torqued to the published Hanwha pattern to keep the housing's ingress rating intact. For mixed deployments, stage a small parts kit of the most common cover sizes alongside spare desiccant packs.
