Overview
The Comelit UT9193B is a surface-mount rain shield designed to protect Comelit 3 ULTRA entrance panel modules in outdoor wall-mounted installations. It addresses the core problem: weatherproofing an access control or intercom system without relocating the panel or adding separate enclosures. The shield mounts directly to the wall and accommodates up to three ULTRA modules, making it the right choice for exterior building entries, loading docks, or any outdoor location where the panel faces direct rain, wind-driven moisture, or UV exposure.
Compatibility
This shield is purpose-built for Comelit 3 ULTRA entrance panel systems. It accepts up to three ULTRA modules and integrates with Comelit's modular access control and intercom architecture. Do not use with other panel brands or single-module variants — confirm your entrance system is a Comelit 3 ULTRA configuration before ordering.
Installation Notes
Constructed from anodised aluminium (RAL9005 black), the UT9193B measures 116mm wide × 293mm tall × 57mm deep — dimensions that matter when routing cables behind wall-mounted panels or assessing clearance in tight mechanical rooms. The surface-mount design means you bolt it directly to the wall fascia; no recessed cavity required. Ensure your mounting surface is flat and can accommodate standard wall anchors or masonry fasteners appropriate to your substrate (concrete, brick, wood frame). The anodised finish provides corrosion resistance in salt-air or industrial environments but is not rated for continuous submersion or aggressive chemical exposure.
