Overview
The Comelit 909020113 is a standard proximity RFID reader designed to consolidate multiple credential formats on a single installation. This reader handles PAC OPS™, PAC OPS™ Lite, PAC, KeyPAC, and third-party credentials communicated via Wiegand protocol—eliminating the need to juggle different reader technologies on mixed-credential sites. Powered via PoE, the 909020113 simplifies installation by collapsing data and power into a single network run, reducing on-site wiring complexity. The compact form factor (89 × 115 × 28 mm) mounts directly to most standard door frames without retrofit.
Compatibility
The Comelit 909020113 integrates with Comelit access control systems and PAC 512 controllers. The reader supports Wiegand protocol output, making it compatible with third-party access control platforms that accept standard Wiegand input (26-bit, 37-bit, and custom formats). Verify Wiegand frame configuration and baud rate alignment with your target controller before deployment. The integral tamper circuit becomes fully configurable when paired with a PAC 512 controller, enabling alarm escalation and tamper logging tied to your access event database.
Installation Notes
Mount the included aluminum plate to standard door frame hardware. PoE (802.3af) delivers power in-line; confirm your switch delivers minimum 13W per port to avoid brownout conditions. The reader includes an integral tamper circuit for door-frame intrusion detection. Operating temperature range is standard commercial (0°C to 50°C typical). Position the antenna face perpendicular to approaching card holders—distance varies by card type (standard proximity cards: 0–15 cm typical). No external power supply required when PoE infrastructure is in place.
