Overview

The Comelit 3110/1A is a flush-mounted installation box sized for a single-module Ikall entrance panel. It solves the standard new-construction problem: getting a clean, recessed backing structure into a masonry or stud wall before the panel face plate goes on, so the finished install sits flush rather than surface-mounted and proud of the wall. At 123.5 x 122.5 x 50 mm, it's sized specifically for 1-module Ikall panel frames — confirm module count before ordering, since multi-module entrance panels need a wider box.

Compatibility

Built for Comelit Ikall 1-module entrance panels. It is not a universal back box — module count and frame series both have to match, so pair it against the specific Comelit Ikall panel model in your BOM rather than assuming cross-fit with other Comelit door entry lines. If your job spans intercom and video door entry on the same wall run, cross-check the panel spec sheet in your video intercom systems lineup before finalizing box counts.

Installation Notes

Rated for indoor and protected exterior masonry or plasterboard mounting; plasterboard installs require separate optional mounting accessories not included with this box. Confirm wall type during rough-in — a masonry flush mount and a plasterboard flush mount are not interchangeable installs even though this box supports both paths. Plan conduit entry and back-box depth (50 mm) against your wall cavity before cutting the opening, particularly on retrofit jobs where wall thickness is already fixed.
