The Z12346-01 is a 5-port PoE connector built for Code Blue Help Point emergency tower installations. It handles Ethernet-based power and data distribution inside the tower base, giving integrators a single termination point for the speakerphone, LED faceplate light, and beacon/strobe circuits instead of running separate home-run cables to each device. This is a field-replaceable component intended for new installs or service swaps on existing 5 Series pedestal towers, not a standalone accessory for generic camera or door hardware.
Compatibility
The Z12346-01 is built for Code Blue's 5 Series Pedestal Help Point towers, including units carrying the IA4100 Analog full-duplex speakerphone module. It pairs with Code Blue's own LS1000 VoIP Speakerphone, LS2000 VoIP Handset, and IA4100 Analog Speakerphone lines, which share the same tower's PoE and Ethernet backbone. Confirm your tower's series and speakerphone module before ordering, since Code Blue pedestal generations are not interchangeable.
Installation Notes
Power and data run over a single Ethernet connection, so a PoE-capable switch or midspan injector upstream of the tower is required — this keeps a separate power run out of the pedestal base, which matters on outdoor installs where conduit runs are already tight. The connector carries an IP68 rating, so it holds up against sustained water exposure inside the tower's sealed enclosure, a real factor given these units are built to NEMA 4 and mounted outdoors year-round. Route and seal all Ethernet terminations per the tower's enclosure rating to preserve that ingress protection — a loose gland or unsealed gasket at this connector defeats the IP68 rating for the whole compartment.
