The Citizen OPT-806 is a long-range dual-band wireless dongle designed for extended connectivity with Citizen CL-S5, CL-S6, and CL-700 thermal printers. This accessory extends wireless reach in warehouse, retail, and logistics environments where printer placement requires distance from the central network infrastructure. The OPT-806 mates with the IF5-ES04 interface card, enabling 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band operation for reduced interference and reliable data transmission across large facilities.

Compatibility

The OPT-806 is compatible with Citizen CL-S5, CL-S6, and CL-700 thermal label printers equipped with the IF5-ES04 interface module. Verify your printer model includes or can accept the IF5-ES04 card before ordering this dongle. This dongle is not compatible with other Citizen printer families or non-Citizen devices.

Installation Notes

Install the OPT-806 by inserting it into the IF5-ES04 interface slot on your CL-S5, CL-S6, or CL-700 printer. Position the printer and dongle in a location with clear line-of-sight to your network access point to maximize range and stability.
