Overview

The XRS3500X01504 is a hand strap accessory engineered for the CipherLab RS35 rugged mobile computer. It anchors the device during extended warehouse picking, logistics scanning, and field inventory work — environments where operator fatigue or wet hands increase drop risk. The strap integrates with the RS35's form factor without interfering with scanning, camera, or charging operations, and accommodates both standard and optional battery configurations.

Compatibility

Designed for CipherLab RS35 series Android rugged mobile computers. The strap works with all RS35 memory and battery variants (3GB/32GB standard, 4GB/64GB optional, and extended-capacity battery options). It does not affect microSD card expansion, SIM/SAM slot access, or the device's IP65/IP67 impact resistance rating when properly installed.

Installation Notes

The strap attaches via integrated mounting points on the RS35 chassis. No additional tools or fasteners beyond what is included are required. Installation takes approximately 2–3 minutes. The strap does not reduce the device's ability to survive the standard 1.5 m (5 ft.) drop test onto concrete, or 1.8 m (6 ft.) with rubber boot — it supplements grip control rather than replacing protective engineering. Verify routing does not interfere with the 5.5" display touchscreen or the rear 13MP camera with LED flash.
