The CipherLab X820000X01508 is a protective cover engineered for the CipherLab 8200 series mobile data terminal. It safeguards the device against physical impact and environmental exposure in warehouse, logistics, and field operations where regular drops, dust, and moisture are routine. The cover preserves the device's IP54 rating—dust-resistant and water-resistant to splashing—while adding a shock-absorbing layer that complements the already-proven 1.2m/4 ft. drop specification of the base unit itself.

Compatibility

This cover is designed specifically for the CipherLab 8200 mobile computer platform and accommodates both scan engine variants: linear imager and laser/2D configurations. The cover geometry is optimized for laser/2D scan engines (136 x 58 x 32 mm) and linear imager models (136 x 58 x 25 mm). It does not interfere with the rechargeable 3.7V 1200 mAh Li-ion battery, microSD expansion slot (SDHC support), or CipherLab cOS operating system functionality.
