Description

Panduit UTP6AX4.5MRD Cat 6A Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX4.5MRD is a 4.5-meter (14.8 ft) Category 6A UTP patch cord in red, designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and high-performance modular plugs, it limits alien crosstalk to ensure signal integrity. The integrated tangle-free latch simplifies cable management and allows for quick release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes in network infrastructure. This cord is suitable for demanding network environments, including those supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring compatibility with all Category 6A network infrastructure. It is rated for 2500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt types 3 and 4, making it suitable for powering high-demand devices like Wi-Fi 6 access points, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, and other PoE++ enabled equipment. The RapidID pre-installed barcode facilitates easy port mapping with compatible RapidID software.

Installation Notes

The cable has a diameter of 0.250 inches (6.4mm) and a CM flammability rating, suitable for use in riser pathways. The tangle-free latch design prevents snagging during installation and removal, requiring a simple push to release. Ensure the connected network equipment supports the Cat 6A standard for optimal performance.
