Overview

The Panduit UTP28X20 is a 20-foot, off-white Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed networking applications. Its compact 28 AWG solid conductor construction simplifies cable management in dense environments like data centers, supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet and up to PoE++ (802.3bt) power delivery. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures easy connection and disconnection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed all ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards up to 500 MHz, ensuring compatibility with 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet applications, making it suitable for powering network devices like cameras, access points, and VoIP phones. It is wired for compatibility with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.

Constructed with 28 AWG solid conductors and a CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, this cable is suitable for in-wall or riser applications where fire safety is a concern. The 0.185-inch (4.7mm) diameter offers a smaller bend radius than standard Cat 6A cables, allowing for easier routing in crowded racks and conduits.
