Overview
The Panduit UTP28X90BU is a 90-foot Cat 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. Its 28 AWG solid conductor construction and compact 0.185-inch diameter simplify cable management in dense environments, such as data centers. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate efficient port mapping with compatible software.
Compatibility
This patch cord supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is rated for IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE applications (up to 48 cables in a bundle) and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 PoE applications (up to 24 cables in a bundle). It is compatible with any network device requiring a Cat 6A UTP connection terminated with standard modular plugs.
Installation Notes
The cable features a CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, suitable for use in risers and spaces requiring reduced smoke and flame characteristics. It meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A and IEC 60603-7 standards for interoperability. The integrated pair manager and centered de-embedded plug design contribute to its performance and ease of installation.
