Panduit CC688BL Cat 6 Coupler Module
Overview
The Panduit CC688BL is a Cat 6 RJ45 coupler module designed to extend existing network cable runs without requiring a full re-cable. It allows for up to two coupler modules to be used in a channel while still meeting ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801 channel performance requirements. This black coupler is ideal for patching or extending copper infrastructure in commercial and enterprise environments where flexibility in cable management is needed. Contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold, ensuring superior signal integrity and corrosion resistance.
Compatibility
This coupler module is fully compatible with Panduit's Mini-Com® Modular Patch Panels and Faceplates. It supports 2500 connection cycles and is certified to meet IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet standards, meaning it will not impede PoE power delivery up to PoE++ levels. It also meets IEC 60603-7 specifications.
Installation Notes
The CC688BL module is designed for snap-in installation into compatible Panduit Mini-Com® panels and faceplates. It supports up to two couplers per channel to maintain performance standards. Ensure that the connected cabling also meets Cat 6 performance specifications for optimal results.
