Camden CX-DA200 Door Alarm with Relay
Overview
The Camden CX-DA200 is a single-gang door alarm module with integrated relay output, operating on 12/24V AC/DC supply. It solves the facility security problem of unalarmed door openings — when a magnetic door contact closes, the CX-DA200 triggers an 80 dB local audible alarm and energizes a normally-closed SPST relay contact for remote signal or annunciation. The adjustable 0–30 second alarm delay (versus no delay on the CX-DA100 variant) gives integrators flexibility to distinguish intentional opens from nuisance trips in high-traffic entries. Heavy-duty stainless steel faceplate handles repeated door cycles without degradation.
Compatibility
The CX-DA200 integrates into access control and door control systems using magnetic door contacts (N/C type) as the trigger input. The relay output (N/C SPST contact) connects to annunciation devices, BMS signaling inputs, or door control logic modules. Single-gang mounting fits standard electrical boxes alongside credential readers, access control modules, and other single-gang hardware. Operates across 12V and 24V AC/DC power supplies — confirm your existing door control transformer or power supply rail voltage before installation. No firmware, no IP networking — purely hardwired relay logic.
Installation Notes
Wire the N/C magnetic door contact to the alarm input terminals. Connect the relay output (N/C SPST) to your remote signal device or annunciation circuit. The adjustable delay potentiometer (0–30 seconds) is factory-set; adjust with a screwdriver before mounting if your installation requires a specific hold-off time. No special tools required beyond standard electrical wiring practice. Confirm 12V or 24V AC/DC availability at the installation location — do not mix supply voltages on a single unit.
