The typical deployment scenario is a horizontal runway segment running from an equipment rack to a wall penetration or wall-mounted distribution frame, where you need a clean, mechanically sound end rather than a raw cut runway edge.

Compatibility

Designed for use with Vertiv GreenLane (GL) series open-wire cable runway. Compatible runway hardware in the same family includes the Vertiv GL runway line and its associated splice and bracket accessories: the GL-CR-BSK butt splice kit, GL-CR-JSK junction splice kit, GL-CR-VSB vertical support bracket, GL-CR-VWB vertical wall bracket kit, GL-CR-SHBk slotted hanger bracket kit, GL-CR-TSB6 triangular support bracket (6-inch), and GL-CR-WTK6 wall termination kit (6-inch width variant). The 18-inch width designation matches the runway width — confirm your installed cable management runway width before ordering; the 6-inch variant (GL-CR-WTK6) is the alternative for narrower runs. Compatible with Vertiv rack infrastructure including VRX, CMR, CMRX, and UCR-HRS series where runway terminates at a wall-adjacent rack bay.

Installation Notes

Pair with the GL-CR-VWB vertical wall bracket kit (sold separately) when the runway terminates at a finished wall requiring a vertical drop transition. For runs requiring mid-span joins before reaching the wall endpoint, use the GL-CR-BSK or GL-CR-JSK splice kits to maintain structural continuity along the cable runway accessory run. End caps (GL-CR-EC) are available separately to close open wire ends at the termination for a finished appearance.
