Panduit A4/0-38RH-C Compression Lug
Overview
The Panduit Pan-Lug™ A4/0-38RH-C is a 4/0 AWG copper compression battery cable lug featuring a 3/8" stud and a 45-degree bend. Its tin-plated finish meets ASTM Class C specifications for corrosion resistance, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications. The standard barrel design, without an inspection window, prevents contaminants from entering the connection. A flared barrel entry simplifies conductor insertion, and high pullout strength is achieved when using Panduit's recommended tooling, meeting US Military Wire Pull Out Specs.
Compatibility
This compression lug is designed for terminating 4/0 AWG stranded copper conductors. It is cULus Listed for use in the US and Canada to UL 486A-486B standards for power applications. While not specific to surveillance equipment, it is critical for the power infrastructure supporting CCTV systems, NVRs, and other security devices that utilize heavy gauge wiring for main power feeds.
Installation Notes
Requires appropriate Panduit crimping tools for proper installation to achieve maximum pullout strength. The 3/8" stud size is standard for many battery terminals and power distribution blocks. The 45-degree angle facilitates routing in confined spaces often found in electrical cabinets and battery arrays.
