Overview

The PNL-VCAM-2-SS is a replacement or alternate-finish faceplate for Viking's VCAM-2 entry camera panel, finished in brushed marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a UV-resistant clear powder coat. If you're installing a Viking Electronics entry system in a coastal, industrial, or high-UV exterior environment where aesthetics and long-term finish integrity both matter, this faceplate keeps the panel face looking sharp without corroding or fading over time. The 316 alloy — not the more common 304 — is the right call for salt-air or chemical-exposure settings where lesser stainless starts showing surface rust within a few seasons. Laser-etched lettering is integral to the panel, so there's no paint or adhesive label to wear off under direct sun or repeated cleaning.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the Viking VCAM-2 camera panel — this faceplate does not fit any other Viking model. The VCAM-2 ships in two factory configurations: VCAM-2-SS (stainless) and VCAM-2-BN (oil rubbed bronze). The PNL-VCAM-2-SS provides the stainless finish as a standalone faceplate component, useful when a bronze-finish unit needs to be redeployed in a stainless-spec installation, or when a faceplate is damaged and needs field replacement without swapping the entire camera assembly.
