Description

Middle Atlantic 837PCC-BRN Brown Poly Carpet Flange — 3-Gang Concrete Floor Box

Overview

The 837PCC-BRN is a brown polycarbonate carpet flange designed to finish the top opening of a 3-gang rectangular concrete floor box installation. At just 0.75 in (1.9 cm) tall, it sits flush against carpet or hard flooring surfaces, protecting the box perimeter and delivering a clean finish at floor level. This flange addresses the common job-site problem of an exposed concrete floor box rim — without a proper flange, edges chip, carpet frays, and the opening looks unfinished in commercial interiors. The brown colorway blends with standard commercial carpet tones where a black trim would stand out. TAA-compliant, making it appropriate for government and federally funded facility projects. The 837PCC-BRN ships as part of Middle Atlantic's broader Middle Atlantic floor box and cable management line.

Compatibility

Designed for use with Middle Atlantic's 3-gang rectangular concrete floor boxes in the OmniBox series. Confirm your floor box accepts a 3-gang poly carpet flange before ordering — single-gang and 2-gang boxes use different flanges and are not interchangeable. Fits installations where the box is set into poured concrete or a concrete-board subfloor. For related floor box accessories and components, verify flange dimensions match the box opening; the 837PCC-BRN is 13 in (33 cm) deep, which corresponds to the OmniBox three-gang rectangular form factor. Not rated for wet or damp locations — specify this flange for dry interior commercial spaces only.

Installation Notes

The 0.75 in flange height means it protrudes minimally above the finished floor plane — account for this when specifying carpet thickness or hard-floor transitions. TAA compliance applies to the finished product; confirm procurement documentation requirements before purchase on TAA-compliant hardware. No wiring or power components are included — this is a trim/finish part only. Install after the concrete floor box is set and the floor surface is complete to avoid damaging the flange during construction.
