Description

Vertiv 15085 Basic Non-Surge 15A

Overview

The Vertiv 15085 is a basic, non-surge protected power cord designed for 15A applications. It provides a direct power connection for IT equipment where surge protection is handled at a higher level or is not required. This cord is essential for ensuring reliable power delivery to servers, network switches, and other rack-mounted devices within a data center or enterprise environment. The 15085 model is specified for standard 15A circuits.

Compatibility

This power cord is compatible with any IT equipment requiring a standard NEMA 5-15P plug on one end and a C13 receptacle on the other, operating on a 15A circuit. It is designed for use with Vertiv rack PDUs and other power distribution units that feature C13 outlets, and for equipment with a C14 inlet. It is suitable for standard rack-mount servers, network gear, and other 15A IT hardware.

Installation Notes

Ensure the equipment's power draw does not exceed the cord's 15A rating. Verify that the NEMA 5-15P plug is compatible with the available power outlet or PDU receptacle. The C13 connector should be securely seated into the equipment's C14 inlet. This cord does not provide surge protection; ensure upstream protection is adequate for your deployment.
