Overview
The Axis 5801-861 is a recessed ceiling mount designed for discreet installation of bullet cameras in drop ceilings and soffit overhangs. The mount accepts Axis M20 series bullet cameras and integrates into ø134 mm (5¼ in) ceiling openings, keeping camera hardware hidden while preserving full optical and network access. Built from chromated aluminum alloy, it suits indoor environments and outdoor soffits — the metal enclosure and ½ inch (M20) conduit hole allow protected cable routing through air-handling (plenum) spaces, meeting building codes where overhead wiring must be concealed.
Compatibility
Compatible with Axis M20 Network Camera Series bullet cameras. The mount's ½ inch (M20) conduit interface and recessed design work with all M20-series models that use standard bullet camera threading. Verify your specific camera model supports M20 mounting before ordering.
