Description

Altronix T2RM78SQ Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix T2RM78SQ is a 1U rack mountable power distribution module designed to efficiently and safely distribute power to multiple surveillance devices. It provides eight fused outputs, each capable of handling up to 2A, for a total system output of 16A. This unit is ideal for centralized power management within a server rack in security control rooms or data centers, ensuring reliable operation for cameras, encoders, and other IP-based security equipment. The T2RM78SQ simplifies wiring and troubleshooting by consolidating power connections.

Compatibility

This module is designed for use with Altronix power supply chassis, specifically the ALTX/MER RK series. It is compatible with systems requiring up to 16A total output and up to 2A per individual fused output. It integrates into standard 19-inch rack installations.

Installation Notes

The T2RM78SQ requires a compatible Altronix power supply chassis (sold separately) for operation. Each of the eight outputs features a removable fuse for easy replacement and circuit isolation. Ensure the total current draw of connected devices does not exceed the 16A system limit or the 2A per-output limit. Proper ventilation within the rack is recommended to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
