Aiphone BG-10C All Call/Chime Adapter with Amplifier

Overview

The Aiphone BG-10C is an adapter designed to enhance communication capabilities within Aiphone LEF series intercom systems. It enables amplified all-call broadcasts, provides a dedicated chime output for notifications, and accepts background music input, integrating these functions into a single unit. This adapter is crucial for deployments requiring centralized announcements or background audio alongside standard intercom communication, such as in office buildings, healthcare facilities, or educational campuses.

Compatibility

This adapter is specifically designed for use with Aiphone LEF series master stations, including the LEF-1C, LEF-3C, LEF-5C, LEF-10C, and LEF-10S for all-call transmission. It receives all-call signals from all LEF Master Stations. For connecting to LE-D or LE-DA substations, it requires 3-wire cabling (Aiphone #822203). When connecting to an LEF-10C, up to 19 wires are supported using Aiphone #822220.

Installation Notes

The BG-10C operates with a power consumption of 100mA. Wiring requirements vary based on the connected Aiphone components: use Aiphone #822220 for connections to the LEF-10C (up to 19 wires) and Aiphone #822203 for connections to LE-D or LE-DA substations (3 wires each). The unit accepts background music via AUX R, E and AUX L, E inputs.
