Overview

The PMAX-0711 is a junction box purpose-built for the ACTi Z950 and Z952 IP camera series. It centralizes power and signal delivery, eliminating the need to run separate cables from your switch to each camera location. The unit accepts PoE+ power (802.3at), making it compatible with standard enterprise PoE infrastructure. Use this when your deployment requires multiple mount types (wall, ceiling, or mixed) within the same system and you want to reduce cable clutter and simplify troubleshooting.

The PMAX-0711 is engineered specifically for ACTi Z950 and Z952 camera models. It integrates directly into these series to provide flexible mounting and consolidated power distribution. Confirm your camera model number against the Z950/Z952 family before ordering — this junction box will not function with other ACTi product lines or third-party camera models.

Installation Notes

Mount the junction box at a central point between your PoE switch and the target camera locations. Verify that your PoE switch supplies sufficient power budget for the number of cameras you plan to attach — each Z950/Z952 camera draws power through this box, so cumulative wattage must stay within your switch's per-port limit (typically 30W for 802.3at).
