Installation Notes
Mount the housing in a location that allows airflow around the fan exhaust—blocking vents reduces thermal performance and can cause condensation buildup. Ensure the PoE line carries sufficient amperage for the heater draw during cold-weather operation; undersized cabling will cause voltage drop and unpredictable fan/heater cycling. Defogger element requires clear lens contact; any dust or debris on the inside surface of the dome reduces effectiveness. Test thermal operation before final commissioning to confirm the heater cycles on at your site's minimum temperature threshold.
