Overview
The CyberPower EC750G is a 750 VA / 450 W standby UPS designed to provide essential battery backup and surge protection for sensitive electronics. Its compact form factor makes it suitable for deployments where space is limited, such as network closets or under desks, ensuring critical devices like network switches, routers, or surveillance cameras maintain operation during short power interruptions. The unit utilizes a simulated sine wave output to deliver stable power, backed by its 526 Joules of surge protection.
Compatibility
This UPS is designed for standard 120 VAC nominal input and output systems. It is compatible with most network devices, including routers, modems, managed switches, and smaller NVRs that operate within its 450 W capacity. The unit's HID-compliant USB port allows for basic power monitoring and management on Windows and macOS systems without requiring proprietary software. It is suitable for use with equipment conforming to UL1778, FCC Part 15 Class B, and CSA C22.2 No. 107.3-05 standards.
Installation Notes
The EC750G features a NEMA 5-15P plug for connection to a standard 120V wall outlet and provides twelve NEMA 5-15R outlets. Of these, six offer battery and surge protection, three are ECO controlled for energy savings, six are surge-only, and four are widely spaced to accommodate larger power adapters. The unit has an operating temperature range of 32-104°F (0-40°C). A full recharge of the internal sealed lead-acid battery takes approximately 8 hours.
