Overview

The CyberPower AVRG900U is a 900VA/480W line-interactive UPS designed to provide essential backup power and surge protection for sensitive electronics, including network equipment, workstations, and point-of-sale systems. Its compact form factor and AVR capabilities make it suitable for deployments where space is limited and stable power is critical. The AVRG900U ensures your devices continue operating during brief power fluctuations, preventing data loss and system downtime.

Compatibility

This UPS is designed to protect standard 120V AC equipment. It features 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets: 6 provide both surge protection and battery backup, while the other 6 offer surge protection only. The unit includes RJ11 phone/modem line protection (1-in/2-out) to safeguard against surges traveling over phone lines. It is compatible with network switches, routers, surveillance cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and workstations that operate within its capacity limits.

Installation Notes

The AVRG900U operates within an ambient temperature range of 32-104°F (0-40°C). Its line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects minor voltage fluctuations without switching to battery, preserving battery life. The unit provides simulated sine wave output, suitable for most electronics, and features a rapid 4ms transfer time. The battery type is a user-replaceable 12V/9Ah sealed lead-acid unit.
