Overview
The Altronix T1PDK7FM8 is a commercial-grade, 8-output, 24VDC fused power distribution unit designed to provide regulated power for access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other security devices. It accepts 120VAC input and delivers a continuous 10A output, with individual fused outputs to protect connected equipment from overcurrent conditions. This unit is UL294 and CAN/ULC-s319-05 listed, making it suitable for demanding security installations. The T1PDK7FM8 is ideal for centralizing power distribution in medium to large-scale security deployments.
Compatibility
This unit is designed to power a wide range of 24VDC security devices. It is compatible with most access control systems requiring up to 10A total output, including brands like LenelS2, Honeywell, DMP, and RS2. It also supports various IP cameras, network switches, and other low-voltage security peripherals that operate within its specified voltage and current limits. The eight individually fused outputs (3A/32V each) allow for granular protection of connected devices.
Installation Notes
The enclosure dimensions are 18" x 14.5" x 4.62". The unit requires a 120VAC, 60Hz input drawing a maximum of 4.5A, protected by a 6.5A/250V fuse. It provides a 24VDC output at 10A continuous, plus an unswitched 1A auxiliary output. Operating temperature range is 0ºC to 49ºC. Storage temperature is -20ºC to 70ºC. Relative humidity should not exceed 85% +/-5%. The unit generates approximately 123 BTU/Hr.
