Description

Speco Technologies N8WNUM40TB 8-Channel Wall Mount NVR with 40TB Storage

Overview

The Speco Technologies N8WNUM40TB is an 8-channel wall-mount network video recorder with integrated monitor and 40TB internal storage capacity. This unit combines recording hardware, display, and storage into a single wall-mounted form factor — eliminating the need for separate NVR, monitor stand, and storage expansion for small to mid-sized surveillance deployments. The TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance designation means it qualifies for federal procurement and government contracts where domestic sourcing rules apply.

Compatibility

The N8WNUM40TB integrates with standard IP camera systems using ONVIF-compatible network cameras from manufacturers including Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, and other ONVIF Profile S/T-compliant vendors. It supports up to 8 concurrent IP video streams over standard Ethernet. Confirm your camera models' ONVIF codec support (H.265, H.264, or MJPEG) against the unit's compatibility matrix before deployment.

Installation Notes

Wall mounting requires secure fastening into studs or using appropriate heavy-duty anchors — 40TB of internal storage and an integrated monitor add significant weight. Provision a dedicated PoE-capable Gigabit network switch to power and carry video traffic from up to 8 cameras without bandwidth saturation. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to manage thermal load during continuous 24/7 recording. Network placement should prioritize low-latency connectivity to reduce playback lag when retrieving stored video through the integrated monitor interface.
