Description

Speco Technologies N8WNUM16TB 8-Channel Wall Mount Recorder with Integrated Monitor

Overview

The N8WNUM16TB is an 8-channel wall-mounted network video recorder with integrated monitor and 16TB onboard storage—a compact all-in-one package designed for small to mid-size retail, office, or facility surveillance deployments where rack space or dedicated VMS infrastructure isn't available. The form factor combines recording, playback, and live monitoring in a single wall-mounted unit, eliminating the need for separate NVR and display hardware.

Compatibility

The N8WNUM16TB supports standard IP cameras (ONVIF-compliant models across major manufacturers including Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, and Bosch). Confirm your camera models are ONVIF Profile S or T compliant before deployment. The 8-channel capacity suits environments with up to 8 simultaneous camera inputs. Storage scaling is fixed at 16TB—no expansion capability; verify your retention window matches the storage capacity and frame rate/resolution of your camera mix before purchase.

Installation Notes

Wall mounting requires standard bracket hardware and adequate structural support rated for the unit's weight and monitor panel. Ensure power supply proximity and PoE switch access for all eight camera feeds. Verify network switch PoE budget: 8 cameras at typical power draw (9–13W per unit via 802.3af) require roughly 72–104W aggregate—a managed PoE+ switch (minimum 95W budget) is recommended. Position the monitor for direct viewing angles; glare and ambient light will affect playback visibility. Network connectivity via Ethernet RJ-45; configure static IP addressing for management stability.
