Overview
The Altronix T2MCK1 is a compact power distribution module designed to efficiently deliver regulated 12VDC or 24VDC power to multiple devices. It accepts a 115VAC input and provides two Class 2, PTC-protected outputs, making it suitable for distributing power to cameras, access control readers, or other low-voltage security system components in a controlled environment. The T2MCK1 is ideal for installations where localized, fused power distribution is required without the complexity of a full power supply.
Compatibility
This module is designed to work with a 115VAC input source. It is intended for use with low-voltage DC devices requiring either 12VDC or 24VDC output. The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) protection on each output provides resettable overcurrent protection, safeguarding connected equipment from power surges. It is compatible with systems that require distributed power for up to two devices, such as individual cameras or access control readers.
Installation Notes
The T2MCK1 requires a 115VAC input. Each of the two outputs is rated for 1A maximum, with PTC protection that trips at approximately 1A. Ensure the total current draw of connected devices does not exceed the rating of the input power source or the individual output limits. The module is designed for internal mounting within enclosures or equipment racks.
