Description

Code Blue SLNP0018 6-Port Ruggedized PoE+ Switch

Overview

The Code Blue SLNP0018 is a 6-port ruggedized PoE+ switch (model TI-PG62B) designed to support Code Blue emergency communication and VoIP speakerphone systems. This switch distributes both power and data to Code Blue towers, wall-mount enclosures, and networked audio systems, eliminating the need for separate power infrastructure on individual devices. The ruggedized form factor handles outdoor and indoor installation environments where standard commercial switches fall short.

Compatibility

This switch pairs with Code Blue's full lineup of VoIP and emergency communication products, including CB1, CB2, CB4, CB5, CB6, and CB9 Series towers; wall-mount and recessed enclosures; IP1500/IP1501 solar-powered VoIP speakerphones; IP2500/IP2501 legacy VoIP systems; IP5000 legacy speakerphones; and LS1000/LS2000 VoIP handset systems. The SLNP0018 also supports Code Blue's IA4100 analog faceplate speakerphones and lighting accessories. Verify exact model compatibility with Code Blue documentation before deployment, as system firmware revisions may affect interoperability.

Installation Notes

The SLNP0018 supports wall, pole, recessed, and rack mounting, accommodating typical emergency communication tower and enclosure placements. Ensure adequate clearance for port access and heat dissipation. Use standard RJ-45 cabling for all network connections. Confirm local grounding and electrical code compliance when mounting in exposed outdoor locations. The switch accepts 12–24V DC input for flexibility across diverse power sourcing strategies common in distributed communication networks.
