The ATEN 2L7D02DP is a 2-meter DisplayPort 1.4 cable rated for 8K (7680×4320) at 60Hz over 32.4Gbps HBR3 bandwidth. At 6.5mm outer diameter with 30AWG tinned-copper conductors and an aluminum-magnesium alloy braid shield, it delivers the signal integrity needed for high-resolution video walls, multi-display control rooms, and KVM console deployments where cable runs sit under 2 meters. Nickel-plated 20-pin male-to-male connectors on both ends resist corrosion in rack environments. The PVC jacket carries a UL VW-1 flame rating — a meaningful spec when routing inside enclosed racks or cable trays where fire propagation matters for code compliance. With support for 32 audio channels, this cable also handles complex AV matrix configurations without a separate audio run.

Compatibility

Designed for use with ATEN DisplayPort KVM switches, video extenders, and matrix switches that expose DisplayPort 1.4 ports — including the ATEN VP2730, CS1922, CS1924, and similar multi-display KVM units. Compatible with any source or display supporting DisplayPort 1.4 (DP 1.4) at HBR3 link rates: workstations, rendering stations, 8K monitors, and video wall displays in control room or digital signage builds. For runs longer than 2 meters, active DisplayPort cables or fiber extenders are required to maintain HBR3 signal integrity — passive copper cables including this one are rate-limited by physics past roughly 3 meters at 8K. If your endpoints are limited to DisplayPort 1.2 (HBR2, 21.6Gbps), this cable is backward-compatible but the higher bandwidth goes unused. Review your KVM switch port spec before ordering to confirm DP 1.4 support end-to-end.
