Overview

The Panduit UTPSP5GRY is a 5-foot, green, Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for reliable network connectivity in commercial and data center environments. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and a CM-rated jacket, it supports Gigabit Ethernet and up to 10 Gbps over limited distances. The integrated tangle-free latch prevents snagging during installation or moves, adds, and changes, while the slender strain relief boot facilitates use in high-density racks. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes simplify network documentation and management using compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Cat 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards, ensuring performance for frequencies up to 250 MHz. It is compatible with T568A and T568B wiring schemes, making it suitable for a wide range of Ethernet applications including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T. It also supports various ATM speeds and digital/analog video transmission. Furthermore, it is rated to support IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, delivering up to 90W without signal degradation.

Installation Notes

The cable jacket is CM-rated for use in building riser applications.
