Overview

The Altronix NETWAY4EW5N is a compact, 4-port PoE extender designed to overcome the standard 100-meter Ethernet cable length limitation. This unit allows you to deploy IP cameras, access control readers, or other PoE-powered devices significantly further from the network switch or power source, up to a total of 500 meters (1640 ft). It's ideal for large facilities, campus environments, or any deployment where running new cable runs is cost-prohibitive or physically impossible.

Compatibility

This device is compatible with any standard IEEE 802.3af/at/bt compliant PoE switch or injector. It functions as a repeater, passing both data and power. Installation Notes
