Overview

The Altronix NETWAY4EBTWPX3 is a hardened 4-port managed PoE switch designed for deploying network cameras and other IP devices in challenging outdoor or industrial environments. Its NEMA 4X enclosure protects the unit from dust, rain, and corrosion, making it suitable for applications where standard indoor switches would fail. The NETWAY4EBTWPX3 provides 4 PoE/PoE+ ports and 2 SFP ports for fiber uplinks, delivering up to 360W of total PoE power. This switch is engineered to simplify network infrastructure by consolidating power and data transmission for multiple devices into a single, robust unit.

Compatibility

This switch is compatible with any standard IEEE 802.3af/at/bt compliant PoE devices, including but not limited to: Axis P32-series domes (P3265, P3267, P3268), Axis Q-series PTZ cameras, Hanwha X-series AI cameras, and Hikvision DeepinView series cameras. The SFP ports support standard multi-mode or single-mode fiber transceivers for extending network reach to remote locations or connecting to core network infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The unit requires a 110-240VAC, 50/60Hz input power source. Ensure the mounting location can support the weight of the enclosure and provides adequate ventilation, despite the NEMA 4X rating. Wiring for PoE devices should use appropriate gauge Ethernet cable rated for outdoor or industrial use. SFP modules are not included and must be purchased separately.
