The PS-MORD48240 is a 48VDC, 240-watt DIN rail–mounted power supply designed for surveillance, access control, and networked security infrastructure where you need reliable 48V distribution across multiple devices from a single compact unit. DIN rail mounting means it fits into standard electrical enclosures without taking up floor space — critical in telecom closets, equipment rooms, and outdoor junction boxes where real estate is scarce.
Compatibility
The PS-MORD48240 supplies 48VDC output, making it compatible with 48V PoE injectors, 48V switches, 48V-rated access control readers, IP intercom systems, and any surveillance peripheral rated for 48VDC input. If your system uses 24VDC devices, this unit is not suitable — confirm your downstream equipment voltage before ordering. Typical pairings include Comnet managed switches and PoE extenders that accept 48V input, as well as remote power delivery to distant camera nodes and access control enclosures.
Installation Notes
Mount directly to standard DIN rail (35mm width) inside an electrical enclosure or cabinet. Verify that your enclosure has adequate airflow; the 240W output generates heat under full load. Ensure input voltage stability — fluctuations outside the 48VDC nominal range may degrade component lifespan.
