Description

Middle Atlantic TOR-4-20RP In-Wall Rack

Overview

The Middle Atlantic TOR-4-20RP is a 4U in-wall, flush-mount tilt-out rack designed for discreet installation of AV and IT equipment. Its 20-inch usable depth accommodates a variety of components, making it ideal for environments where equipment needs to be hidden from view while remaining accessible, such as in conference rooms, retail spaces, or residential installations. The putty powder coat finish blends with most wall colors.

Compatibility

This rack is designed for standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. It features 10-32 threaded rack rails, compatible with most commercial AV and IT components. The 4U (approximately 7 inches) of usable vertical space is suitable for network switches, small NVRs, patch panels, or other compact devices. Its in-wall application implies compatibility with standard wall construction depths.

Installation Notes

The TOR-4-20RP is designed for flush mounting directly into a wall cavity. It supports a maximum load capacity of 100 lbs (45.4 kg), ensuring stability for the installed equipment. The tilt-out mechanism allows for easier access to the rear of the mounted devices for servicing or cable management. Ensure the wall cavity is adequately sized for the rack's external dimensions (24.5" W x 30.2" H) and that the mounting location can support the weight of the rack and its contents.
