Overview

The Middle Atlantic TD3LK is a 3U rack-mount storage drawer built for AV and security equipment racks where access security and storage capacity both matter. With a keyed lock and a UL-rated 50 lb (22.7 kg) load capacity, the TD3LK handles everything from loose cable management hardware to remote controls, spare drives, and tools — keeping them secured and off the floor. It occupies 3 rack units (5.25 in) in any standard 19-inch EIA rack, with a 15.56-inch interior depth that accommodates bulkier items than shallow utility drawers. The textured black powder coat finish matches standard Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and blends cleanly into mixed-equipment bays.

Compatibility

The TD3LK mounts in any standard 19-inch EIA-310 compliant rack or open-frame rack system. It integrates directly into Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and rack systems — including the ERK, BGR, and WM series — without adapters or spacers. It is equally compatible with third-party 19-inch rack cabinets and open-frame units from any manufacturer conforming to EIA-310 spacing. The two front mounting points engage standard rack rail hole patterns (square, round, or threaded with appropriate hardware). There are no brand-specific mechanical dependencies — if the rack is 19-inch EIA-310, the TD3LK fits.

Installation Notes

The drawer ships at 19 lbs and installs at 13.43 lbs finished weight — factor both into shipping logistics and rack load calculations before positioning it in a fully loaded enclosure. The 50 lb UL load rating is the verified ceiling; do not exceed it with heavy test equipment or stacked hardware. Mount on rack rails with standard M6 or 10-32 fasteners (not included) per your rail type. The lock cylinder is keyed at the factory — retain the key. No tools are required beyond a standard screwdriver for rail attachment.
