Overview

The PACE3KL allows you to place cameras, access control readers, or other IP-enabled equipment up to 100 meters further down the cable run than standard Ethernet limitations would permit. It functions as both a PoE extender and a network switch, simplifying deployments in challenging locations.

Compatibility

This adapter is compatible with Altronix NetWay Series products, specifically designed to work with the NetWay1624, NetWay8, and NetWay4 series of PoE switches. It is intended for use with standard IP cameras, access control systems, and other network devices that support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards. Ensure your existing network infrastructure or Altronix PoE switch supports the required power budget for the connected devices.

Installation Notes

The PACE3KL requires a PoE source from a compatible Altronix switch or injector to power itself and pass power to the connected device. It utilizes standard RJ45 connectors for both input and output. The unit is designed for simple plug-and-play integration, requiring no complex configuration. For optimal performance and to adhere to Ethernet standards, ensure the total cable length from the source PoE switch to the PACE3KL, and then from the PACE3KL to the end device, does not exceed 100 meters (328 feet) per segment.
