The Panduit UTP28X3 is a 3-foot Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-density data center environments. Its compact 28 AWG solid copper construction simplifies cable management and supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and advanced PoE++ applications, reducing bundle size and improving airflow. The integral pair manager and tangle-free latch streamline installation and maintenance.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring compatibility with 10GBASE-T networks up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards for up to 48 cables in a bundle and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3/4 PoE++ for up to 24 cables in a bundle. The RapidID barcode facilitates easy port mapping with compatible systems.

Installation Notes

The cable features a solid conductor type and a CM/LSZH flammability rating, suitable for in-wall or riser applications. The centered, de-embedded plug design ensures a secure connection without interference. The patented tangle-free latch simplifies connection and disconnection, crucial for frequent moves, adds, and changes in dense rack environments.
