Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP30BU is a 30-foot, Cat 6, 28 AWG unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-density network installations. Its compact diameter and tangle-free latch simplify cable management and reduce installation time, making it suitable for data centers, telecommunications rooms, and structured cabling deployments. The integrated RapidID barcode facilitates efficient port mapping and asset tracking.

Compatibility

This patch cord supports all IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 PoE applications, delivering up to 100W of power. It is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) standards. The cable construction exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E specifications for frequencies up to 250 MHz, ensuring compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 10GBASE-T over limited distances. It is wired to T568A and T568B standards for broad system compatibility.
