Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP2 is a 2-foot Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its compact 28 AWG stranded conductor construction and off-white CM/LSZH jacket simplify cable management in racks and patch panels, reducing clutter and improving airflow. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy releases, streamlining moves, adds, and changes in enterprise and data center deployments. This cord is also equipped with pre-installed RapidID barcodes for efficient port mapping via compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord supports a wide range of networking applications including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T over limited distances, as well as ATM, Token Ring, and various video transmission standards. It is wired to T568A and T568B schemes and exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards up to 250 MHz. It also supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt type 3 and type 4 PoE applications, delivering up to 60W or 100W respectively, without compromising data integrity.
