Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP25OR is a 25-foot Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable network connectivity. Its compact 28 AWG construction simplifies installation in dense rack environments, while the tangle-free latch ensures easy connection and disconnection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. This cord is ideal for structured cabling systems in commercial and enterprise deployments, supporting applications from Gigabit Ethernet to VoIP.

Compatibility

This cable supports 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet) networks. It is also compatible with 155 Mb/s and 622 Mb/s ATM, 1.2 Gb/s ATM, digital video, broadband/baseband analog video, voice/data systems, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). It meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards up to 250 MHz. Furthermore, it supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE applications and IEEE 802.3bt types 3 and 4 PoE applications, ensuring compatibility with powered devices.

Constructed with 28 AWG stranded conductors and a CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, this patch cord is suitable for use in plenum or riser spaces where fire safety is a concern.
