Overview
The 01290-001 is a surface-mount frame designed to hold up to two 2N IP Verso intercom modules in a single unified assembly. This eliminates the need for in-wall cutouts or structural modification — you mount the frame directly to the wall surface, configure your choice of modules (Bluetooth reader, touchscreen, camera, fingerprint), and wire them into your IP Verso system. Solves the common problem of retrofitting access control into buildings where wall cutting isn't feasible or desirable, and simplifies multi-module deployments across residential lobbies, office entries, and hospitality check-in points.
Compatibility
The 01290-001 frame is engineered for the 2N IP Verso modular intercom ecosystem. Compatible with all 2N IP Verso 2 modules including Bluetooth reader modules, capacitive touchscreen modules, hidden night-vision camera modules, and fingerprint reader variants. The frame provides both mechanical alignment and electrical pass-through for module interconnection — no adaptation or third-party connectors required.
Installation Notes
Surface installation uses standard wall anchors and fasteners on flat surfaces. For glass panels, textured walls, or uneven finishes, 2N recommends pairing the frame with an optional backplate to ensure flush mounting and mechanical stability. The black powder-coated finish resists fingerprints and minor vandalism. Modules wire through the frame into a single RJ-45 Ethernet uplink — all power and signaling flows through one connection to your IP network or local PBX, eliminating the need for multiple cable runs per module.
